About the Talk:
We are greatly honored that Mr. Earl Bakken is going to talk to us in the coming TAA-MN event. Most of us are familiar with Mr. Bakken's early success with Medtronic. Yet, in the past decade, Mr. Bakken has been trying to make another health care revolution: he built a completely new health care system in Hawaii that was designed to provide health care through the combined western medical sciences and traditional Asian and other world healing modalities. Mr. Bakken calls his new health care system "High Touch" in comparison to the "High Tech" medical therapies of Medtronic. Mr. Bakken has great vision of the world. He also has a very unique decision-making procedure, "Ready, Fire, Aim", as opposed to "Ready, Aim, and Fire". We're very excited to have this opportunity to meet Mr. Bakken and hear how he shaped the biomedical industry, as well as his vision on the health care and technology world.
The talk will be held in the World Headquarter of Medtronic. Due to company security policy, registration is required. The event is sponsored by the TAA-MN, but is open to all the parties and individuals who may have interests. Early registration is highly encouraged as we need to know the final attendence well in advance to work with hosting site security requirement and as well as to help plan the reception.
